Jalpaiguri, 27th January: 150 families in Jalpaiguri municipality area were given land leases on Wednesday.
According to municipality sources, land leases were distributed among the residents of Maskalaibari Colony, Indira Gandhi Colony, Pandapara Colony, Aurobindo Colony, and many other areas under Jalpaiguri Municipality.
Chairperson of Jalpaiguri Municipal Administrative Board Papia Pal, Board member Sandeep Mahato, Saikat Chattopadhyay, Durga Roy, Additional District Magistrate of the Land Revenue Department Ranjan Chakraborty and other officials were present during the distribution programme.
