After the incident, people are constantly advising the young generation of the city to be more careful and cautious. Most of the youths are frequently spotted riding motorcycles and driving cars at tremendously high speeds. They expressed grief over the unfortunate incident and stated that several young people of the city need guidance and proper counselling in their day-to-day life.

On the other hand, Amit Sarkar, Secretary of Darjeeling District Legal Aid Forum, stated that various clubs and educational institutions should draw the new generation’s attention towards developing the society. Apart from the guardians, the entire society must stand by them.

Teachers of different schools stated that society is also responsible for the degrading mentality of the youth. Hence, parents must actively participate in their child’s process of growing up and keep them from committing such mistakes.
