Mirik, 11th August: Krishna Janmashtami, the annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, was celebrated in the well renowned Sri Krishna Mandir in Mirik. The auspicious day was observed following government protocols laid down in view of the Coronavirus pandemic.
While the number of devotees at the temple was significantly less today, people offered their prayers to Lord Krishna by maintaining social distance and following all guidelines.
