Siliguri, 17th June: The Players Welfare and Rehab Association, Kriradipti, has reached out to the players in need. In a press conference held at the Siliguri Journalists Club today, the members of the organisation stated how many competent players are frequently compelled to quit their sports due to academic obligations.
The organisation claimed to make an attempt to reach out to the parents of the players and raise awareness amongst them. Additionally, it was addressed in the conference that numerous qualified players quit the game in the middle owing to a shortage of funds.
Dr Sandipan Sengupta, Dr Sandip Sengupta, Cheif Advisor and Dean of NBMCH along with Dr Sudipta Sen, Sharbani Roy and Kriradipti coordinator Amit Sarkar were present in the event.
