Rajganj, 31st August: Durga Puja is just around the corner with only a month left. Preparations are in full swing at various places across the city. Today, the members of Paghalu Para Yuva Sangh Mahila Vrind of Rajganj started their preparations for Durga Puja through Khunti puja.
This Durga Puja is being organized by women in Paghalu Para adjacent to Sahudangi area under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj. This year marks their fourth year performing the puja ceremony. This year a pandal will be built replicating a Buddhist temple.
In this regard, the members of the puja committee said that this puja is conducted by women and they will be entering their fourth year. The puja pandal will be built as a Buddhist temple. Along with the pujas, various cultural programs will also be organized for four days.
