Rajganj, 16th March: Kharendra Nath Roy has begun his election campaign in Rajganj Assembly constituency shortly after being announced as CPI(M) candidate.
Speaking to media before setting out on the campaign trail, Roy said the election in the Rajganj constituency is expected to be a three-way contest. He added that the campaign would focus on several key issues, including alleged corruption by Trinamool Congress (TMC) and other important concerns such as the SIR.
Later in the day, Roy conducted a public outreach programme in the Talma Bazar area under the Rajganj constituency. Accompanied by party leaders, workers and supporters, he visited the market and surrounding areas, interacting with local residents and appealing for support for the Left Front.
Several local CPI(M) leaders and party workers were present during the campaign programme. According to party sources, a series of campaign activities will be organised across different parts of the Rajganj constituency in the coming days.
