Rajganj, 23rd April: Khageswar Roy visited various areas affected by yesterday’s storm in Rajganj, on Friday. Rain accompanied by a thunderstorm caused a lot of destruction in the block.
Reportedly, Khageswar Roy visited Sannyasi Para, Khachagara, and Mahan Para of Sukani Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block. During the visit, Khageshwar Roy said that he has looked into the damages in the Sukani region caused by massive rainfall and thunderstorm. He said that he had a talk with the BDO regarding the issue.
According to Roy, the people whose houses have been damaged during the thunderstorm will be rehabilitated. Also, he has asked all the panchayats to apply for the further process by April 24.
