Siliguri, 27th July: Kartik Mandal, the former panchayat of 19/95 part in Porajhar, was expelled from Trinamool Congress for anti-party activities. The newly appointed Fulbari No. 01 TMC president Mohammad Ahid made the announcement on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference at the TMC office in Ambikanagar, Mohammad Ahid alleged that Kartik Mandal had worked for BJP in the last assembly polls. Due to his anti-party activities, Trinamool lost all seats in the 92/93/94/95 parts of Porajhar which was in his charge. As the matter came to light, he was expelled from the party. However, no response was received from the dismissed Trinamool leader Kartik Mandal.
