Siliguri, 21st September: The Kanchenjunga Tourism Festival is set to take place from September 27 to September 29 to promote tourism in North Bengal. This initiative is organized by the Association for Conservation and Tourism, and was announced during a press conference held on Saturday.
The press conference was attended by the association’s brand ambassador, Baichung Bhutia, and Raj Basu, along with other members of the organization. The three-day festival will commence on September 27, in alignment with World Tourism Day, at a shopping mall in Matigara.
The festival will feature notable guests including Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej and renowned artist Arko Mukhaerjee. Additionally, a variety of activities, including an open mic event and several food competitions, will be organized as mentioned by the organizers.
In addition to the festival announcement, a new website was launched during the press conference to further promote tourism in the region.
