Siliguri, 27th June: Siliguri Janashree Club has commenced preparations for Durga Puja with the traditional ‘Khutti Puja’ held on Friday, coinciding with Rath Yatra. This year marks the 56th year of their celebration.
The club has announced a special theme for this year’s puja, a pandal modeled on the Jagannath Temple of Digha. Shibu Dey, secretary of the club’s puja committee, said they aim to surprise and delight devotees with the unique concept and design.
