Fulbari, 03rd August: The road from Bhola More to Bhalobhasa More in Fulbari I Gram Panchayat, particularly a 300-meter stretch in the Jamurivita area, is in a deplorable state. Water has accumulated in numerous potholes, making the road resemble a temporary pond and causing significant problems for local travelers.
Residents have reported frequent small and large accidents due to the poor condition of the road. Despite joining a road blockade a few months ago to demand repairs, they have seen no action from local authorities, including the Pradhan and Panchayat.
Local residents expressed their frustration, stating that the road has been in disrepair for a long time, with large potholes filled with water, turning it into a hazardous path for both small and large vehicles. The situation has made daily commuting difficult and dangerous, especially for those taking children to school.
Despite previous protests and demands for road repairs, residents have received only assurances without any concrete action. They are urging for immediate repairs to ensure safety and ease of transportation.
Panchayat member Dayal Roy acknowledged the road’s poor condition and the difficulties faced by many. He stated that he has informed the Gram Panchayat Pradhan about the urgent need for road repairs.
