Jalpaiguri, 06th June: Jalpaiguri Municipality and District Administration held a meeting to review the coronavirus situation in the district.
It is to be noted that several positive cases have surfaced from Jalpaiguri and the administration has declared the Race Course Para, New Town Para and Kadamtala Durga Bari areas as Containment Zones.
Papia Pal Jalpaiguri Municipality Administrator said that bamboo barricades have been installed in the stated areas and police forces have also been deployed.
The meeting was attended by Jalpaiguri Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Ranjan Das, members of the municipal administration board Sakat Chatterjee, Sandeep Mahato and others.
