Rajganj, 27th March: In view of the Coronavirus outbreak, Jalpaiguri MP Dr. Jayanta Roy conducted an inspection at the Rajganj Rural hospital. He inspected the infrastructure, medical facilities and the isolation center of the hospital.
Roy, along with the Block Medical Officer of Health (BMOH) Dr. Subhadeep Sarkar visited every department of the hospital and also held discussions with the doctors and the health workers who were on duty. He also raised awareness among the patients regarding COVID-19 and suggested everyone to wear mouth masks and maintain social distancing.
The MP stated that he is visiting all the hospitals in the district to ensure whether the rural hospitals have proper medical facilities or not. He further stated that the Rajganj hospital’s infrastructure is really good and he is happy to see that all the doctors and the health workers are performing their duty well.
