Rajganj, 17th March: Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate from Jalpaiguri district Nirmal Chandra Roy has campaigned at several places in Rajganj.
Reportedly, on Sunday, the candidate campaigned in Belakoba Bazaar of Rajganj block, Takimari of Gajoldoba, Ambari, and other areas. During the campaign, Jalpaiguri District Trinamool Congress Chairman and Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, INTTUC District President Tapan Dey, Rajganj Block TMC President Arindam Banerjee and others were present. Additionally, candidate Nirmal Chandra Roy and MLA Khageswar Roy also participated in wall writing in Ambari under the initiative of the Rajganj Block Trinamool Youth Congress (TMYC).
In this regard, candidate Nirmal Chandra Roy stated to have received a positive response from the common people during the campaign. He added that the campaign targeted the issue of the central government’s negligence towards Bengal. Further, he claimed of achieving a positive outcome in the district during the election.
