Jalpaiguri, 04th December: The 33rd Jalpaiguri District Book Fair will be held on December 06, at Fanindra Deb Institution (FDI) ground.
Reportedly, a meeting was held in the District Magistrate’s office today regarding the book fair. In the meeting, various issues including cultural programmes and inaugural ceremony were discussed.
The acting president of Jalpaiguri District Book Fair Committee and Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy said that the book fair will be organized under the COVID-19 protocol. Apart from the MLA, Additional District Magistrate Ashwini Roy, District Library Officer Saikat Goswami, Vice Chairman of Municipal Board of Administrators Saikat Chatterjee, Joint Secretary of the committee Anjan Das and others were present.
