Kharibari, 21st October: Jagat Bandhu Young Sporting Club in Panitanki, Kharibari, has started its preparations for Kali Puja with the traditional ‘Khutti Puja.’ Celebrating its 31st year, the club has chosen the theme ‘Matri Rin’ for this year’s festivities.
The theme will focus on the emotional journey of children growing up and sometimes neglecting their elderly mothers. In addition, the club will showcase a grand display of Ayodhya’s Ram temple, illuminating 15 gates with the renowned lighting of Chandannagar.
Abhijit Roy, a member of the club, expressed confidence in attracting a large crowd to witness the puja and its unique theme. Alongside the puja, the club will organize the distribution of clothes and host various cultural events for the community.
