Islampur, 10th January: The Islampur Police District Sports Competition was inaugurated by Inspector-General Jayanto Paul of Raiganj Range at the Teesta Maidan in Islampur. Islampur SP Sachin Makkar, Additional District Superintendent of Police Karthik Chandra Mandal and DSP Somnath Jha were present during the event.
The Inspector-General hoisted the flag and inaugurated the competition. The Policemen and officers of Chopra, Chakulia, Dalkhola, and Goalpokhar Police stations of Islampur are participating in the annual sports competition.
