Siliguri, 03rd November: The Islampur Municipality Chairman Kanhaiya Lal Agrawal reached North Bengal Medical College and Hospital to meet the injured individuals of the major accident that occurred during the rally of Biswa Nabi Diwas.
It is to be noted that four people were electrocuted to death during the Biswa Nabi Diwas rally, on October 27. The incident surfaced from the Shiyaltole area under Islampur police station. 22 have been injured in the incident, out of which 10 were shifted to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.
Out of the injured, one is still critical and the other six are stable at present. Kanhaiya Lal Agrawal visited NBMCH to boost the morale of the injured and also to consult with the doctors. He assured to make arrangements to drop the recovered patients at their home.
