IRCTC to start tourist services with Bharat Darshan special train

Siliguri, 21st January: The Bharat Darshan special tourist train will start its journey named ‘Sri Ram Path’ from Agartala on February 23. The initiative has been organized by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).


The travellers will get a chance to visit Ayodhya, Varanasi, and various places in Prayagraj. After the 9 days and 8 nights of the journey, the train will return to Agartala. The train will pick up passengers from various stations including New Jalpaiguri, New Cooch Behar, Agartala, and Dharmanagar.

Anuj Dutta, a senior official of the IRCTC, said that the trip has been arranged at a cost of 8,505 rupees. Apart from online ticket booking, e-tickets have also been arranged.
