Siliguri, 19th December: The Siliguri police have been searching for the absconding accused Manoj Roy since the incident of the kidnap-murder of the 12-year-old minor. Meanwhile, a team from Pradhan Nagar police station reached Andhra Pradesh after tracing his whereabouts and planning to lay an ambush to nab him. But till now the police have not fetched any success.
At the same time, about 10 days after the girl’s body was found, today, the forensic team reached the spot to investigate the matter. The Sukna forensic team of four members reached Sukna Khairani lane and examined the spot closely. During this, the blood samples and soil have been collected.
Along with the help of the forensic team, the police are trying to find out where and how the minor was killed. Along with this, the forensic team has conducted a search operation within a radius of about 100 meters from the spot and is collecting even the smallest pieces of evidence. Meanwhile, everyone awaits the reports from the forensic tests.
