Bagdogra, 10th January: The District Drivers and Helpers Union celebrated the 29th Foundation Day of the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) at Bihar More in Bagdogra.
In addition to celebrating Foundation Day, the attendees paid tribute to the late former Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh. The celebration included hoisting the party flag and singing the national anthem.
During the occasion, several new members joined the INTUC, assisted by Amitabh Sarkar, the president of the Naxalbari Block Congress. The event was attended by District President Dilip Das, District Secretary Bagna Som, Amitabh Sarkar, former Pradhan of Upper Bagdogra Gram Panchayat Kanchan Kushwaha, General Secretary of Bagdogra INTUC Sunil Gurung, Badal Singh, Malay Bhowmik, and other members of the organization.
