INTTUC protests against alleged anti-labour policies of centre in Siliguri

Siliguri, 15th June: The Indian National Trinamool Trade Union Congress (INTTUC), today, held a sit-in protest against the Central government in Tinbatti More of Siliguri, demanding the clearance of the arrears of the 100 days work in the state.


During the protest, party workers and supporters including Siliguri Town Block No. 3, INTTUC President Sujay Sarkar, Darjeeling District INTTUC President, Nirjal Dey, were present.

According to reports, today, the members of the organization expressed resentment for the increasing fuel prices, while demanding clearance of the arrears, and protested against the alleged anti-people policy of the Central government. In addition, the Union hinted towards a major agitation in the future, if their demands are not addressed by the Centre.
