Phansidewa, 08th March: In observance of International Women’s Day, the All India Tribal Socio Research and Development Center orchestrated a series of programs at Muni Bagan of Phansidewa.
As per reports, the event was graced by the presence of Roma Rashmi Ekka, Deputy Chairperson of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad, who attended as the chief guest. In addition to honouring tribal women, the occasion also featured various cultural programs.
In this regard, Roma Rashmi Ekka highlighted the global significance of Women’s Day and stressed the importance of women’s rights and empowerment in her speech. She emphasized the need for women’s inclusion in mainstream society and called for an end to discrimination against women.
