Siliguri, 08th March: Along with the rest of the country, International Women’s Day was celebrated in Siliguri on Saturday. The Darjeeling District Mahila Congress organized a celebration at Hashmi Chowk (Venus More) in Siliguri to mark the occasion.
Darjeeling District Mahila Congress President Ruma Nath, along with other officials, participated in the event. As part of the celebration, the Darjeeling District Mahila Congress extended greetings to women and distributed chocolates to honour them on International Women’s Day.
