Rajganj, 26th June: International Anti-Drug Day was observed in Ambari, along with various other locations, with a number of awareness initiatives. The Ambari Outpost police and Canal Road Traffic Outpost, under the Siliguri Police Commissionerate, took the lead in organizing events with the students of Ambari Chinta Mohan High School.
On Wednesday, students received awareness messages about the dangers of drug abuse. Additionally, an awareness rally was conducted in the area, further spreading the anti-drug message.
The event saw participation from several key figures, including ACP Abdul Hai Sarkar, OC Mrinmoy Ghosh of Bhorer Alo Police Station, OC Hirukanti Sarkar of Ambari Outpost, OC Buddha Tamang of Canal More Traffic Outpost, and other police officers and school teachers.
