Injured students write Madhyamik exam at Siliguri District Hospital

Siliguri, 10th February: Two students injured in a dispute with their neighbours appeared for their Madhyamik exam on Monday at Siliguri District Hospital. The injured students, identified as sisters Saina Ansari and Afreena Ansari, were admitted to the hospital following the incident.


According to reports, a dispute broke out between two neighbours in the Goala Patti area under Ward No. 04 of Siliguri on Sunday. While trying to intervene, the sisters sustained injuries and were later taken to Siliguri District Hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, the students and their family members became anxious about their upcoming examination. A complaint was lodged at the police station. Subsequently, OC Sudip Dutta of Khalpara Outpost arranged for the students to take their exam in the hospital under tight security.


Speaking on the matter, Siliguri District Hospital Superintendent Chandan Ghosh confirmed that the injured students took the exam from the hospital. He added that after completing the examination, both candidates would undergo a physical check-up, and if found fit, they would be discharged.
