Siliguri, 17th June: At least 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a clash with Chinese troops at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh.
The Darjeeling District Yuva Congress leaders, on Wednesday, burnt the effigy of China President Xi Jinping in the Siliguri Hashmi Chowk area. A protest rally also commenced from the district office and slogans were raised against the Chinese government.
