Siliguri, 19th September: A one-day knockout football tournament was organized under the management of the Indira Gandhi Smriti Raksha Football Tournament Committee.
The tournament was organized on Sunday at Balaka ground under Ward no-23 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. 16 teams participated in the competition.
The winning teams will be awarded the Amritlal Chowdhury Memorial Winners Trophy and the Late Paresh Chandra Kar and Monika Kar Memorial Runners Trophy.
Committee President Deepak Kar, Amar Chandra Paul, Madan Bhattacharya, and others were present in the tournament.
