Indian Wrestler Bajrang Punia won the Bronze Medal after beating Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan in men’s freestyle 65kg in Tokyo Olympics 2020.
After his win, the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced a cash reward of Rs 2.5 crore and a government job for wrestler Bajrang Punia for winning the bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics. Punia has become the sixth Indian wrestler to win a medal at the Olympics – the country’s seventh medal overall in Olympics wrestling.
