Siliguri, 16th August: After a woman was found dead in Siliguri, her in-laws have been accused of killing her. This sensational incident surfaced from the Majhabari area East of Dabgram No. 2 Zone. The deceased has been identified as Maman Saha (20).
As per the allegation, the woman returned to her in-laws’ house from her parents’ on Saturday evening. But the following morning, her family members were informed that she was dead. Maman’s father alleged that his daughter was murdered. After the incident, the family of the deceased ransacked her in-laws’ house.
Bhaktinagar police and Ashighar Outpost police reached the spot as soon as the news was received.
Currently, three members of the woman’s in-laws have been taken into custody. Meanwhile, Ram Prasad Poddar, Maman’s husband, is absconding since the incident.
