Alipurduar, 04th February: Barobisha outpost police recovered a large number of illegal cigarettes in the Pakriguri area of the Assam-Bengal border under Alipurduar district. Two people have been arrested in the incident.
Reportedly, the cigarettes were being smuggled from Assam to Bengal hidden inside a secret chamber of a truck. The police detained the truck and have started an investigation into the whole incident.
