Siliguri, 21st August: Addressing the media on Saturday, Siliguri Municipal Corporation administrator Goutam Deb said “The economy has gone down all over the globe due to COVID-19, but if there is a will, there is a way. I am trying my optimum level to transform Siliguri into a beautiful, clean and vibrant city.”
The new members of the BoA of SMC were felicitated on Saturday. Following this, Deb, addressed the media and said “ I will work with the BoA members for the development of Siliguri. Those who have received new responsibilities have been working in SMC for a long time. Their experience will help us in improving the city better.”
On the other hand, BJP MLA Shankar Ghosh said, “The citizens of Siliguri will not get any development through narrow politics. The governing body failed to make any positive change in the city except uttering promises.”
