Siliguri, 21st August: A heart-wrenching incident occurred as a schoolgirl was reportedly subjected to a brutal murder, with her head mercilessly crushed by a brick in the Rabindrapally vicinity under the jurisdiction of Matigara police station in Siliguri. The lifeless body of the young schoolgirl was found amidst the shrubbery in an abandoned area on Monday afternoon.
Promptly responding to news, ACP Rajen Chhetri and DCP Abhishek Gupta rushed to the scene, along with Matigara police station officers. The police swiftly retrieved the student’s lifeless body and subsequently transported it to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile,the authorities are actively seeking the family of the deceased student. Initial inquiries indicate that the police suspect foul play, surmising that the student might have been brought to the location and met with fatal harm. Matigara police are pursuing a thorough investigation into the entire incident.
