Siliguri, 12th February: The Higher Secondary examinations began on Thursday across the state, including Siliguri, and will continue until 27th February. This year, a total of 710,811 students are appearing for the exams.
Examinations will be held at 822 main venues and 2,103 sub-venues across 23 districts. Female students outnumber male students this year.
Adequate security arrangements have been made at each center, with police personnel stationed outside the gates. In Siliguri and surrounding areas, police have also set up help desks and distributed water and pens to students.
Additionally, the Dabgram-Fulbari unit of the Trinamool Chhatra Parishad extended greetings to students by providing water and pens.
