Rajganj, 27th May: Heavy rain and strong storm winds rocked through parts of Rajganj block, on Tuesday night, causing widespread damage in the surrounding areas.
Multiple electric poles fell and many trees were uprooted. Several houses were also damaged in various parts of the block including Fulbari Purba Dhantala, Majhiyali, Sannyasikata, and Panikauri Gram Panchayat area.
As numerous electric poles fell, the power supply has also been affected in the area. However, since this morning, the electricity department workers are working continuously to repair the damage. Besides, the Gram Panchayat has also assured to help the affected families.
