Siliguri, 04th August: As heatwaves continue to persist, Siliguri, Jalpaiguri, and various parts of North Bengal recorded very high temperatures on Tuesday.
Although the heat was slightly lower during the morning, the temperature kept rising as the day progressed. Due to the scorching heat, maximum people were spotted with umbrellas over their head. People wore caps, gloves, and also covered their faces to protect themselves from the extreme weather. Meanwhile, lesser crowds were spotted in the streets today.
On the other hand, a similar scenario was witnessed in Jalpaiguri today. Narendra Sarkar, a scientist at the Jalpaiguri Central Meteorological Department, claimed that the heat will not subside in the next 48 hours. He further affirmed that no possibility of rain has been predicted as of now.
Hello sir,
As of now I.e. @ 12.36 AM it’s raining here in siliguri.
What the scientist said has been proved wrong. What do I do. Kya Hoga is desh ka.
In which part of siliguri it’s raining ? The heat is same as yesterday’s. I wish there was rain .
You want to say, a prediction based on the previous data must be 100% correct! Weather scientist can only predict the best scenario that doesn’t mean it will be correct for all case.
