Siliguri, 19th October: The mysterious hanging body of a nurse of a nursing home was found in Milanpally, Siliguri. The deceased has been identified as Archana Thapa, a resident of Darjeeling. Her family has alleged that she was murdered, rejecting claims of suicide.
As per reports, on Friday night, the deceased’s body was found hanging inside the residence in Milanpally area. The incident caused a stir in the neighborhood, with local residents reporting that numerous people frequently visited the house late at night. The owner of the property was allegedly unaware of the identities.
After the discovery, an attempt by the nursing home to move the body was stopped by the locals, who then informed the police. Law enforcement officers arrived and transferred the body to hospital.
Archana’s family, who traveled from Darjeeling after receiving the news, arrived at Siliguri District Hospital and strongly suspects foul play. They claim there were multiple wounds on her body and have expressed their intention to file a murder complaint, demanding justice.
