Siliguri, 10th August: A young man’s unusual death has shocked Ward No. 24 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The deceased, identified as Raju Roy from Assam, was residing in a rented house with his family in Siliguri.
As per reports, on Saturday afternoon, after failing to get a response from Roy, his elder brother broke down the door and discovered Roy’s body hanging. The Siliguri police were notified and arrived at the scene, sending the body to Siliguri District Hospital.
The body will be transferred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination on Sunday. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
