Siliguri, 08th August: A man who was previously arrested for bike theft in Siliguri has been apprehended once again for a similar crime. The accused, identified as Biraj Kumar, was previously detained by the Medical Outpost police but was later released from custody.
According to reports, a motorcycle was stolen from in front of Biswadeep Cinema Hall on July 18. The bike owner filed a complaint at the Pradhan Nagar Police Station. During the investigation, police discovered Biraj Kumar’s involvement in connection to the theft. Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted a raid and arrested the accused. The stolen motorcycle was recovered from his possession.
The accused has been produced before a Siliguri court. At present, the police are engaged in further investigation of the entire incident.
