Rajganj, 07th August: The Haat-Bazar of Fulbari- No. 2 Gram Panchayat will remain closed three days a week as protective measures against Coronavirus. Accordingly, the market will be completely shut down on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Since the first outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous people in the said gram panchayat have been infected with the fatal virus. Meanwhile, considering the advent of the delta virus in North Bengal, Gram Panchayat Pradhan Dilip Roy said that a meeting was held with Panchayat members, public representatives, police and business people to take precautionary measures against COVID-19 and delta variant.
As per the decision, all shops will remain closed for three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Also, for the rest of the day, buyers and sellers will have to wear masks and follow COVID-19 protocols. In the first phase, this decision will be applicable till September 15. After this, the next phase will be taken in view of the situation.
