Rajganj, 27th February: On Tuesday, a Higher Secondary (H.S.) examinee met with an accident while returning from the examination center. The examinee, Rina Roy, is a resident of the Basobari area under the Panikauri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block.
As per details received, the examinee is a student of the Ambari-Falakata Chintamohan High School. Reportedly, the examinee was returning home on a motorcycle with her uncle after her exam at the examination center of Belakoba High School. Subsequently, a recklessly driven motorbike accidentally hit them in the Battala area adjacent to Belakoba. As a result, the examinee and her guardian were knocked down and sustained injuries. Meanwhile, the accused bike rider fled the scene after the incident.
Upon receiving the news, the officials of Belakoba Outpost arrived at the spot, rescued the injured, and took them to the Belakoba Rural Hospital. However, due to minor injuries, the doctors discharged both the injured after first aid.
