Rajganj, 17th September: On the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, brotherhood and harmony was witnessed in Fulbari’s Indo-Bangladesh border. People from different walks of life and religions including Hindus and Muslims were seen celebrating the festival together.
Like every year, this year also Vishwakarma Puja was organized near the Indo-Bangladesh border under Fulbari. But this time the puja is very special because this time a huge puja pandal has been constructed to mark completion of its 25 years. The entire pandal and the pavilion were decorated with colorful lights. It has been told that 3500 truck owners, traders and employees together organized the Vishwakarma Puja.
This time the idol of Lord Vishwakarma has been brought from Kumartuli in Kolkata. Along with this, the entire pavilion has been decorated with the lights of Chandannagar.
