Siliguri, 05th May: Buddha Purnima is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Siliguri, where a grand procession was organized by the monastery situated in Ward No. 10 of the city. The procession was attended by Manik Dey, the councillor of Ward No. 13, and the Mayor-in-Council of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, along with other dignitaries.
The procession commenced from Mahakal Pally monastery and covered various routes across the city. The event was marked by vibrant and colourful decorations, along with the chanting of hymns and mantras. The procession drew in a large number of devotees.
