Siliguri, 25th February: A cultural programme was organized at Darjeeling’s Raj Bhawan on behalf of the Central Tourism Department. Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and his wife Sudesh Dhankhar attended the last day of the event.
While on his way back to Kolkata on Thursday, the Governor at the Bagdogra Airport said that the Raj Bhawan has re-opened for the general public after many years. He highly praised the initiative taken.
Regarding the upcoming polls, he hoped that the elections will be conducted peacefully this time. And that the Election Commission will make all necessary arrangements so that every person across the state will be able to cast their vote.
