Siliguri, 24th September: On Friday, the administrator of Siliguri Municipal Corporation Goutam Deb presented a deficit budget of Rs 4.5 crore for the fiscal year 2021-22.
He presented the budget in the presence of members of the BoA and municipality officials. As there was no opposition, the budget was passed unanimously.
In this regard, Goutam Deb said that the budget has focused on tax collection, service to the poor, development of the city, and drinking water services.
