Siliguri, 19th July: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized on Monday on behalf of North Bengal State Transport Drivers and Trinamool Workers Union Siliguri Depot.
SMC administrator Goutam Deb inaugurated the blood donation camp by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp. It has been learned that this camp was organized in collaboration with Terai Lions Club. The collected blood will be sent to Terai Lions Blood Bank.
Goutam Deb said that every year they organize blood donation camps. “The demand for blood has risen especially due to the pandemic situation. We thank our staff for taking this initiative,” he added.
