Kalimpong, 15th March: Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) Bimal faction slammed posters across Kalimpong demanding the immediate arrest of those involved in the attack on Birendra Lama.
Allegedly, on Sunday night, Birendra Lama, an activist of the GJM Bimal faction, was attacked by the supporters of the GJM Binay faction. Condemning the attack on the GJM Bimal faction, District Kalimpong Committee has put up extensive posters.
Topden Bhutia, Gorkha Janmukti Yuva Morcha (GJYM) coordinator, demanded the police administration to immediately arrest the accused and take severe action.
If the accused are not arrested, the Bimal faction will not be responsible for any “unanticipated incident or fire in the hills and Kalimpong area” instead the police administration will be blamed, Bhutia stated.
