Rajganj, 21st November: Ananta Dev Burma, founder of Greater Cooch Behar People’s Association (GCPA) held a public meeting in Rajganj, on Sunday.
The meeting was held at Haricharanvita village of Binnaguri gram panchayat in Rajganj. Ananta Dev Maharaj reached Haricharanvita village around 11 am. Central forces were deployed for his security. Besides, Narayani Sena members were also present.
He first held a 30-minute organizational discussion with the members at the house of Panchanan Roy. Later, he addressed a public meeting in the same village, where he raised awareness about the culture of the Rajbangshi community.
