Siliguri, 21st March: Gangaur Utsav was organised at Gandhi Maidan by the committee of Ward No. 8 under the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The event was held under the leadership of Shalini Dalmia, continuing the tradition observed every year.
Women from the ward participated enthusiastically in the traditional celebration. They were seen performing Ghoomar dance to Rajasthani songs and exchanging festive greetings with one another.
Dressed in colourful traditional attire, married women added vibrancy to the occasion, with the entire venue reflecting the festive spirit of Gangaur.
