Siliguri, 07th December: During BJP’s Uttarkanya campaign today, Fulbari’s Pathasathi was allegedly vandalized. The protestors also vandalized a bus and two motorcycles.
A woman in charge of Pathasathi strongly condemned the incident and demanded strict punishment for the wrongdoers.
It is to be noted that the atmosphere in Tinbatti and Fulbari has boiled up surrounding today’s Uttarkanya campaign. The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Youth Wing has called for a Uttarkanya campaign today against various issues and also in support of various demands for North Bengal. Multiple BJP state leaders as well as central leaders were present today.
